    Yes you are......

    You really are

    You really will do this.

Another little story - just a mini one - apparently the favourite bit of the bible for those in slavery was everywhere it said "And it came to pass....." They took hold of that and held onto their dream of freedom! I never thought they would have a black US president in this decade ! Absolutely amazing! It just goes to show how limited our imagination can be by past experience, knock backs etc... You can and will rise above all this....

weird thing is, he started talking about it when 4 of us were on lunch....and he asked the other two for their intepretation and they both said you've got to do whats right for you, and most importantly YOUR family.....

  • Hi CAFC - so glad today went OK, hopefully your boss will treat the next person a bit better/nicer. Don't feel guilty about going in 4 weeks, that light is at the end of the tunnel and it will get bigger and bigger until you break free and I'm sure the future is a lot, lot brighter for you and your dh, you have each other and that is the main thing.

Which i think irked him because basically not everyone agreed with his stance on it.
I appreciate that it leaves them short, but contractually I only have to give 4 weeks.....and if he hadnt of behaved the way he has, i'd have stayed longer

What a bully he is to do that??? I think he is mad cos he can't control you any longer and he probably knows you have very little respect for him.

    What a peculiar little man????

Well done to you for standing your ground. Proud of you

  • Hi
Don't often post, but am popping out of lurkerdom. CAFCGirl I would recommend a book called 'The Secret' by Rhonda erm not sure of her surname sorry. Its quite 'out there' but is quite inspirational and might help you get in the right frame of mind to deal with the changes you are embarking upon.

Morning hun how you feeling today.

Your boss never ceases to amaze me, to talk about that in front of others during a lunch break is unforgiveable and more than anything unprofessional.

The sooner you are out of there the better I say.

    Hows the payplan thing going??
