Anybody got a call from 3 after asking for thier PAC code?

Called them just now to ask about the deal that was offered and to try and get the charge waive. Guess what, the muppets have no record of an offer like that being made.:mad:

They really are a bunch of muppets!!!

Beware if you get a call from them, make sure you confirm every little detail.

the retention department are a secret underground movement who can only make calls out and apparantly can make any deals they so please, you wont get the same great deals from cancellations or 'normal' CS as retentions only kick-in once you have cancelled (or you are on notice period)

all you can do is hope they call you back !

I got a retention deal from 3 a few years back - first they offered a fairly poor deal which I wasn't interested in. As time went by and the disconnection date loomed, the offers got better and better! Eventually I got a new phone plus 200mins / month for 12 month for £6 total.

well i cancelled due to the three like home issues. rang back as i did not get my pac code. anyway after negotiation i was offered 500 mins, unlimited text and internet max addon and se c902 for 14.68 a month for 12 months. as i was moving to simplicity tarrif for a similar deal at 20 quid i snapped there hand of lol.

At last they wised up, I called today and asked to speak to the special team that called me.

They returned my call and agreed to waive the £107 and give me the about contract. I asked for the 12 month deal, so I can upgrade in 9mths time and torture them again. :T

For all that have asked for the PAC and want to stay be patient and they will call you with a good deal to keep you.
