Anybody got a call from 3 after asking for thier PAC code?

I sent a letter requesting the PAC. 3 then called me and seemed to be offering apparently daft deals for me to stay. But i was leaving because of the customer services and poor reception - there was not way i was staying.
After being on the phone for 55mins and losing all self control i got the pac.0 -
You see I'm happy enough with 3 signal wise but requested the PAC as a ploy to get a better deal with them. Currently pay £16 for
300mins, 250 text, 50 video& picture messages and £5 downloads
I know the deal at the min is good but I'm chancing my arm to get a better deal.;)0 -
They offered me a Sony G502 with 300 minutes, 1000 texts, 50 video minutes, 50 multimedia messages and £5 downloads for £7.83 a month (but they take into account your previous bills and how long you have been with them - I was there 3 years with most bills around £35)0

How long after you cancelled did they call you back?
I've been with them 3-4 years, cancelled on 28th May. Bills £16 from Feb 2009 and in 2008 normally around £21
Would'nt mind a call from them offering a deal similar to yours0 -
A couple of days... you'll probably get a call today or tomorrow.0

Well what a surprise they just called me. They offered
Sony g502, 750mins, 150 text, 50 video calls, 50 pic messages
for 18mths £9.79 or 12mths £11.74.
I was going to take the offer, then the 3 sales guys says " so if you want this deal we can do it for you but you will have to pay up the rest of your contract and that will be £107.49"
I told them I didn't want to pay and they wouldn't back down, even after speaking to their supervisor.
So I never took the deal.
For all that have been offered or already changed beware that they may try and charge you this.0 -
cheeky blighters, the 'rest of your contract' doesnt exist though surely as they have accepted termination of said contract ????

I know, I'm going to call them again tomorrow and hopefully get someone different.
Can anyone on here confirm that they didn't get charged, I'll toture 3 for it.:mad:0
