Also picked up a microfibre cloth at P&Q for a £1 but I think this may be a bit overpriced, anyone any idea where I can pick up some more at a more reasonable price?

Pretty sure Tesco value ones are 3 for less than a quid. I think Morrisons do them quite cheap too, so I would start looking in your local supermarket.
  • i can get stardrops ok at morrisons but cant seem to find starclens anywhere
dont have a 'home bargains' in this region as far as i know

  • I have just been asda Burton on trent and star drops 20p per bottle, they are cut down from 40p, they seem to be selling a much larger bottle now for 50p so looks like getting rid of stock, not sure if this will be everywhere.

I'm converted! After doing the sink (cleanest it's been in 4 years!), the bathroom, the hob, the outside of the fridge, and numerous other things, I decided to do the biggie - the carpet stains! Wow! Just a dribble, and out came the marks which nothing else would shift!

Stardrops - how fantastic are they!

I have converted the kitchen staff where I work :D

Took in a bottle as the stuff they use was choking me, and cleaned the areas previoulsy " cleaned"

Ive now been asked to bring in enough for the bar, resturant and kitchen as well as for a few members of staff.

And the "mocking" owner popped into work yesterday on her day off to swipe a bottle I had mixed as she was cleaning her house after the chimney breast had been removed and the kitchen re tiled - nothing else was cleaning the place :D
  • After reading this thread I have the urge to go shopping tomorrow to buy some. what are the microfibre cloths used for?

I bought some Stardrops in Home Bargains today for 69p went to Asda after and they had a larger bottle for only 40p so I've now got two bottles. I've had a quick try on my chrome splashback in the kitchen and it seems good.

I've just stocked up of plenty of 1L size bottles from asda at 50p each. They were smack bang in the middle of the shelf with an empty space as so many had been sold!

Couldn't resist as I am totally converted to using this for my cleaning now and I've stocked up to replace my other products when they run out shortly!
