    Hi Everyone

Didn't get round to posting yesterday so well done to everyone for all those small and big (Bagpuss!) things.

OH and I are going out for the day to enjoy the sunshine and each other! We're going to use our membership at the Tate Modern and treat ourselves to afternoon tea. I also need to buy some sandals that I can wear to work so will use our time in town to do a bit of shopping later in the afternoon.

    My small list for today:
    • [STRIKE]washing HC[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Storecupboard breakfast (bagels from the freezer)[/STRIKE] Also managed a storecupboard dinner too
    • [STRIKE]scratchies[/STRIKE] 10p
    • call best friend in france - I've really been missing her -Couldn't get hold of her

    Hello everyone

We had a lovely day in town - treated ourselves to a nice lunch AND afternoon tea! OH even bought me a pair of sandals to avoid me using my credit card.

I've also had a some good news - the sofa company have admitted that they have messed up and that they had wrongly set up credit accounts and placed a default on my credit file. They have said that they are going to remedy this and are sending me £10 as a good will gesture. I will need to use some of that to check my credit reports in a month or two.

I have also had my feedback on my assignment - I passed!!!!!! :j Thank you all for the kicks up the rear end when I needed to get it in. Hopefully I have passed the exam and therefore have passed the course!

Catch you all tomorrow - may not get on until the evening.

    Morning everyone :j

Lovely sunny day again today - did shopping and went to see DD1 yesterday, must get on with some housework and gardening today!

    I have / will:

    Not spend anything today :T

Check online banking - done, as expected

    See to animals

Put white shader stuff on greenhouse as plants got too hot yesterday and looked the worst for wear.

    Water plants

Sow some more salad leaves seeds

BBQ for tea - can't face lots of cooking when it is so hot -make some nice coleslaw to go with it as we have eaten all the salad leaves that are ready and I have a cabbage in the fridge.

I will make some soup though with some left over veg and the ham bone I was given yesterday when I bought ham at the deli counter in Mr S though! There was not much left on the ham that I chose, and the assistant had to remove the bone. I 'innocently' asked what they would do with it, and she asked if I would like it 'for my dog or something' - obviously I said yes :D
It is not suitable for the dogs, but has quite a lot of meat left on it, and will make soup for work lunches for next week

So, do remember to ask about the bone if you ever find yourself in this situation - I bet they just throw most of them away

Pick 2 cucumbers that are ready in the greenhouse - I have already picked and eaten one last week - this is the earliest we have ever had home grown cucumbers :j

Better get on - I was late up and haven't had my breakfast yet. OH has gone to the car boot sale without me (which I don't mind at all, as I don't want to spend anything and would be bound to come back with yet more plants )

Have a nice day everyone :hello:

Nice and sunny here today - woop woop.

Barclays have decided to let me have access to my cheque funds after a long wait. So it means I can actually get few things sorted today money wise. I hate banks. I wonder if I could start my own????? ;)

Plan for this weekend is -

1/continue putting house back together again now carpets are in (looking lovely too :D) DONE :D:D
2/order sofa DONE - BEING DELIVERED ON THURS
3/pay rent and Nat Ins  DONE - HAVE TO GO TO POST OFFICE FOR NAT INS THOUGH!!
4/OH take DS swimming tomorrow OH DECIDED TO STAY AT HOME AND WORK!
5/mum visiting later so I can order her bed for her online - she is also putting petrol in my car as I gave her a lift to a wedding yesterday! RESULT - she usually puts in more than I used! Good job mum! :DDONE
6/POST OFFICE - post work bits that MUST go today! BUT I'm still waiting for some bits to put in with it that should come in the post to me today. So I might miss the local post office and will mean I have to go into town  DIDNT GET DONE YESTERDAY - WILL DO TODAY. MEANS WILL BE A DAY LATE BUT OH WELL. WORSE HAS HAPPENED!
7/various odd jobs round the house IN PROGRESS.....
8/put shopping away when it comes later DONE
9/online banking and scratchies DONE BOTH DAYS
10/get upto date with washing (only 2 loads) WAS ACTUALLY 3 LOADS - NEED TO GET SHEETS ON IN A BIT :D

Hope everyone is good! Have a good weekend!!

Oh - Well done on the £100 win yesterday bagpuss :j

Morning again - another sunny sunday!

We did really well yesterday. House is looking tidy! Our stuff hasn't known such organisation for about 3 years. It's wonderful. Still got to finish of DS's room, porch and bathroom. Which won't take too long. Once this is done will start on the boxes in the shed  Am pleased though - I didn't think we would get any where near the shed boxes this weekend! So we are making good progress for once!

My first online shop came aswell - is good although they did forget a couple of things. BUT it saved us time in going shopping and it means we kept within the budget! So it is def worth while...will be doing again!!

Going to sort out my work bits first and will then get on with some more sorting!

    Have a good sunday all!!!!!

Hey all - not been on for a bit as I've been a bit busy with stuff on the money front.

    1 - Returned my tax disc to DVLA to get the balance refunded to me (about £60);
    2 - Recycled my mobile through Envirofone (earning me £137.50 for the phone and £3.60 from Quidco);
    3 - My new car insurance is with Sheila's Wheels who are £100 cheaper than with my last car and I got £45 cashback through Quidco;
4 - Bought a cover for my new phone through Ebay for a penny (£1.30 from Hong Kong) while the same one is in Argos at £14.99!
    5 - Have put a few things on Ebay for which I expect to get about £15 - £30;
6 - Just sent off a cheque to pay off a credit card balance of £2,500 (this was the deposit for my car and with my Flybe card, I get airmiles for every £250 spent, so get 10 reward points for using that as my deposit and with some earned fom work, I now have a free UK return flight with them, or lounge access for a year! Add that to the free international return they gave me for opening a card with them) The cash to pay this came from my bonus from work:
7 - There's a small transfer fee to that car for balances, so I'm going to transfer my Sainsburys card balance to it while I await a decision from the FOS on PPI matters I sent to them. If successful, I should get enough to clear the balance of the card, but if not, at least I'll not be paying interest on that sum in the meantime.

This should be my debt-free year as a result of the above!!!!!!!!!
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

    Happy Sunday everyone!

I reached the grand old age of 23 yesterday which gives me exactly 2 years before I want a house deposit in place and thanks to my lovely family and soon to be family, I'm £120 closer :)

    So today, I have/will:
    • Go and pop my money in the bank.
    • Check interweb banking... hmm... the HSBC site seems to be broken but all fine otherwise.
    • Check paypal for £20 focus group money... not appeared yet.
    • Keep looking round for second jobs to apply for. Might be a bit mad on top of a full time job and with tax and student loan repayments kicking in, it might not be worth my while... but I find myself bored at night and restless so it's worth considering.
    • Nip down to my Nannan's and show her how to use the Sky+ she had fitted the other day :rotfl:
    • Loads of food left over from the BBQ yesterday so storecupboard meals (naughty birthday choccies for breakfast!)
    • Sparkle in new birthday dress
Have a nice weekend everyone... well, what remains of it :D

    - Scratchies
    - Curly
    - Cashback bingo
    - Go get hay bale from stables for piggies
    - Eat what is in, only need to get some fruit
    - Do rescue operation in the veggie box in fridge, I have a feeling that my piggies are going to eat well this weekend :o
    - Put piggies out
    - Cut grass before the jungle gets worse and I have to hire someone with bigger machinery to sort it out
    - HC in 30 and line dry
    - Really going to sort out that scary post pile
    - Continue sorting out books
    - Received my cheap phone I bought from fleabay which should carry me over until I can upgrade, need to set it up with important numbers
    - Empty my other two phones from all the data so that I can recycle them (and get cashback :D)
    - Sent a kiss to lovely man using free texts hoping it will cheer him up when he is working :p
    - DD's dad coming today to take her out and will bring me three dogs so walking them plus mine and going to get friend's dog as well - heaven!
    - Cut DD's fringe
[STRIKE]- Sunday take DD to playground and take drinks with us[/STRIKE]

    Good morning!

Not too bad for yesterday. All washing done and mostly put away so really chuffed about that. Did manage NSD yesterday as when I was supposed to go to the shop (after being at stables) DD wanted to go to the toilet so we came straight home. DD's dad is coming again today and now will bring me five dogs so I don't think I will have time for fruit shopping as it is too hot to leave them in the car while popping in the shop.

    Have fantastic day everyone!!!
