Got a empty box.

So I bought an item off ebay, What a load of bull.

I got the item, Opened the box and its empty (sent by Recorded cleaver idiots)

I open a dispute with paypal, they turn around and said send the item back.

I emailed CS who said, ok we will add a note and you will get the outcome in 30 days.

I then emailed back saying the dispute is asking for tracking information (STILL) and that I could not wait 30 days.

They then went on to say go to the police station :rotfl:

I went there and they had tears in there eyes because they wanted to laugh so hard. So I just went.

I then email paypal who then turned around and said send the item back! !!!!!! .

I am just thinking of sending a empty box back? (But why should I loose an extra £3-£4?)

But is there any clauses where I am covered?

The CS is just awful :rotfl:

Thanks in advance.

Oh and is this common? On ebay? :rotfl:

My mate once bought an Xbox 360 off eBay (wasn't cheap) and he recieved a box with the letter 'x' on it. This was quite some years back though...

oh ok lol well it looks like it still lives on though.

paypal are useless though, Might just say to the bank I did not authorize it, but I am sure she will end up giving the tracking info and I would end up being hated by natwest and paypal and be without my money.

Just send a envelope back. Of course if you send recorded then you run the risk of it not being tracked, but it would only be a quid or so.
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine. :p

How much did you pay for the empty box - just out of interest. Some people are just cretins aren't they?
It is a police matter as it's obtaining money under false pretences or fraud. But obviously with little to go on, they're not likely to be of any help.

My policy has always been never to buy anything for more than a few quid off ebay. That way if some clown decides to do the dirty, (and it's happened once or twice to me before) then at least I haven't lost much.
If you will the end, you must will the means.

    Most amusing!
(If it wasn't in the boxes & packaging category, then it was mis-described!)
