Riggerz - really Well Done!!!! on your first sale.

CandyB, What a shame about the twin cake. I have never made one but would love to. Suppose it would be a good idea to think a design out in advance, just in case!
Don't know how you all cope making stuff for fairs - It takes me far too long just making one.

Vikki_louise, I only use Pampers size 2 nappies and I try and buy them from Sainsbury's when they do the third off baby stuff. I order online and do a big shop at the same time (dont have a car) but last time they sent me less packs then I ordered saying I could only have so many!
I get the 62 pks which would normally work out at 14p each but a third off is about 10p each.

Europa welcome to the thread,Candyb hope the show went well today and almond hope it went well on your free stall what a great idea wish my local hospital had that.
I was a little upset today after showing photos of my cakes to a friend of a friend who said she couldnt think of anything more tacky and cheap looking as a gift,i know my cakes arent perfect but i didnt think they looked cheap or tacky so came away a little deflated :( Has anyone else ever had such a harsh response?

    Emma xx
