hiya, i thought as our asda is a long way away i would order some boxes of nappies online but they seem a lot more expensive than in store. When i was there i got that massive box of size 3's that they were doing for £10 (I think it was 128). Are they still that price in store? The ones on the site are almost, if not double the price per nappie

My first 2 ever nappy cakes

This is my Piglet nappy cake, it contains 27 size 3 nappies, 2 size 1 nappies, very soft piglet blanket, 1 white vest 0-3 months with a little animal on, johnsons bedtime cream, 1 long sleeve and long legged pink and white stripped outfit with a cupcake on and the word "cupcake", 1 "its a girl" bear, I cake board, 1 pair of socks with pretty frilly edges. Its done like an arm chair but a bit differently to ones that have been posted on here. Every single thing in it is use-able. Dads taken some pictures on film as we couldnt get any good ones of it unwrapped as the colours seemed too similar for my camera

My Eeyore cake. Contains around 27 size 3 nappies, 4 size 1 nappies, 1 hooded Eeyore towel, 1 Johnsons baby lotion, 1 johnsons baby bath, 2 weaning spoons, 1 pair of white and pink socks, 1 vest size 0-3months, 1 Eeyore toy. I can't decide whether to put a thick band of cream ribbon around it with small pink organza ribbon around or leave it as it is. I will then wrap it in celo with a big pink bow at the top.

  • Vikki-Louise your armchair cake is gorgeous and a new slant on style for everyone.

Well I've been viewing this, and the old thread, for a few days now and I too have got the nappy cake bug. Already bought a few items and when completed I will post my cake on here for your respected opinion :)

Well Done! vikki_louise on your 2 cakes. They are beautiful. I especially like the second one. Where did you get eeyore from? He's lovely - all the ones I've seen are really strong colours.

Emma, Glad you got your cake sorted. I think cream and lemon will look lovely. Don't gorget to post a pic!
  • Vikki_Louise they are gorgeous! I love the piglet chair!

I've done the three tiers with all the bits in the middle. Have a towelling robe to cover the bottom tier. Just need something to cover the middle and top tier. Am having trouble trying to get the robe looking good though :( I think I read tips on the previous thread so need to have a good read and play, but it is getting there!!! :)
