im doing a xmas fair this year but all gifts have to be under £10. my small cakes normally sell for £25 so will have to really down size on things. was wondering if u could let me know what you all think is best to put in a cake (a very small one) im thinking 10 nappies, muslin and nice socks without a board and with nice ribbon, any other suggestions as i would like to make a small profit on them too.0

Hi mum with a bump
these are some Mini Cakes I did ages and ages ago but thought they might be helpful.
They are on a 7 inch board and have 7 x size 2 Nappies,1 pr Booties,1 Bib, 1 Feeding Cloth and 1 pr Sock rosebuds. I charged £10 at the time.
You could play around with contents to make it feasable.

How much do people tend to make on mini cakes? I found I was just breaking evenBest wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card

That's a loaded question Vikki because we all make different profit margins on our products depending on where we source our ingredients but the rule of thumb is generally 50% and above at least, I would never do a cake that I break even on if I kept that up I'd be out of business
