thanks I have been on you tube most of the day looking up how to do it. im not sure if i want to roll or swirl the nappies, what would you use to cover the second layer? can i cover the bottom teir and leave the second one uncovered or will that look strange? i dont really want a blanket as its a july baby. i am thinking one pack of 31 size 2 nappies which will probably make it a 2 tier cake. I am going to have a look see what bargains i can find and then try and fit it on lol. has anyone used wilkinsons for baby bibs/socks ect? and card factory for a soft toy?
thanks for your help xx0 -

I have not used wilkinsons my self but im sure others have just make sure like i said the soft toy is safe from birth and you will be ok.
thank you, I went into wilkinson today and thought it was a load of rubish for baby bits. I did however buy 2 johnsons products as they were on offer for £1 each. I then went to asda and picked up a hooded towel and washcloth, some scratch mits and some socks. they never had the muslins and a romper I liked they never had the size. and got some huggies nappies size 2 (35 nappies) and I got a little elephant toy for the top.
Do you prefer to swirl or roll your nappies?

Hi everyone, I've not been on this thread for ages as I became too ill to do nappy cakes. Now doing the odd one and so happy to be doing them again. Sad I couldnt turn it into a proper business (health wise) as I can't believe how many nappy cake sellers are out there now that are really bad and just wrapped in tons of cello to hide it!
What cuddly toys are everyone using at the moment? I used my last asda fathers day lion yesterday which I'm gutted about, I got some more last year which have darker hair and football boots on but they just don't look right to me
I did a cream/brown cake the other week but other than that I don't remember the last pink one I did, everyone seems to be having boys at the moment!
I look forward to catching up on this thread and seeing your lovely cakesBest wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card
