How do you get the 'wheels' to stay in place?

the first time i just sat the pram thing on top. but then see where the bands are that hold the stack together i threaded the nappy thru the bands that ran underneath but it was a bit fiddly and one of the band snapped which is why theres only one green band showing on one of the pics.

next time i'm going to try and get rid of the bands that hold the stack so when people take it apart its not so obvious how its made and then thread some ribbon thru the bands on the rolled up nappy and secure it to the stack before i wrap the opened nappies round it.

i hope that makes sense i'm rubbish at explaining things i think its just trial and error to see what suits you best, that was just my fist attempt that i knocked up in 10 mins just to see if it was possible for me to make.

Thanks for the ideas ladies. I went to B&M and got a Disney princess blanket for £3.99, Disney Princess hooded poncho towel £3.99, Disney Princess bubble bath with toy squirter £1.29, Disney princess mini colouring pad with wax crayons for 99p, pack of girls socks £1.59. Now I just need to decide how to put it all together and buy a teddy for the top!
The nappy 'pram' is absolutely fantastic you are all so clever and creative can't wait to have a go it looks amazing and thanks for the instructions!
Love the luxury cake I am going to have a go at a luxury organic/eco cake - I managed to buy quite a few Rocha John Rocha organic things such as baby gro and hat set, vests, blanket, socks etc in the sale at Debenhams it was all half price or less and its neutral so great for resale!
Proud mummy to 3 beautiful boys! :D

    HI everyone,

I was a regular on the old site but haven`t been on for awhile!

Loving all the cakes and all the new people doing them - wow, us moneysavers are very talented!!

I have only done nappy cakes but am looking at branching out to cupcakes now...

Where do I start? What have you found that sells well (sets of cakes or individual cakes?)

    Hiya everyone,
Some great new ideas coming through just lately.

Nice to see you here again Bellag. Gorgeous cake! You just get better and better. How is the website doing? I take a peek every now and then - Just love your "ladies" sock cupcakes! The colours are fab!
Hope you don't mind me asking - are you selling many "shoe" cakes? I've only managed to sell a couple and am thinking of taking them to bits. People just seem to want the toys on top.
