I think that is absolutely gorgeous..... I need to make one now! lol, did you get the idea from the net? if so would you mind posting a link?
lol it was a bit of an accident - i went onto ebay.com instead of ebay.co.uk by mistake and saw one on there. it looked easy enough so i just tried to copy it from the picture so i don't have a link to instructions. the one i saw on ebay was like a stack of nappies banded together sat ontop with the nappy stack on its side then sat on top of 2 rolled up and a nappy opened up and looped over the top for the hood. I opened up another couple nappies and wrapped them round the stack to to hide the ends of the nappies on the stack if that makes sense?!?
i threw it together in less than 10 mins so its fairly simple if you can decypher my instructions lol. i thought they were pretty cute and not as creepy as the babies i'm sure the more arty of you will do it more justice0 -
:T :T :T :T well done youA creative mess is better than tidy idleness0 -
Angelkay, maybe if you make another you could post pics of each step?0

lol i will do, i'm off to the hospital today with my son so can't manage now but will do later.
if you search diaper bassinet on ebay.com you will see some there and you will see what i mean about making a stack/block with the nappies. all i did differently was hide the ends of the block by wrapping a couple nappies round it. i used a vest as a blanket but i'm thinking about a couple wash cloths, scratch mits and socks0 -
WOW Angelkay, yours looks 10 times better than the ones on ebay.com
So much tidier. Well done you! Might have a little go myself but don't hold out much hope lol
Hope all goes well at the hospital with your lil one0 -

thanksi will take some pics of how to make the pram thing tonight - i was going to see how easy it would be to make a handle out of maybe rolled washcloths with wire to hold the shape if its needed. i'll see how i get on.
my son got on great at the hospital. he was rushed in by ambulance on sunday for suspected meningitis. turns out he had HSP, we'd never heard of it but basically he had a viral infection but instead of his body fighting the infection it started attacking the blood vessels mostly in his skin on his legs and bum which gave the rash that didn't fade when we did the glass test and his joints swelled so he couldnt walk. very scary but he's fine it can affect the kidneys and gut but hes been lucky and suffered no lasting effects except the bruising to his skin which looks like hes been involved in a serious accident - his lower legs is just one big bruise0 -
i'm not sure if you are aware but i was in asda today (aberdeen dyce) and they had the 2 boxes of huggies for £18 on the shelf in the nappy section they only had the standard 103 nappies per box but at the end of the aisle they had the boxes with 140 nappies for £10 but these also went thru at 2 for £18 working out at 280 nappies for £18 or just under 6.5p each nappy I only had enough room in the car for 4 boxes or i would have bought more.
hope that helps someone0 -
