i tried it with 1 but you could see a hole thru so i put on another opened one to hide the hole
they are not massive but i thought they were quite cute an perhaps a more afordable alterative to a nappy cake i used 16 nappies, some florist ribbon and a vest, i bought some wee rubber ducks today £1 for 3 and plan to use them as they are a perfect size to fit under the hood part i guess you could make a bigger version but i would have no idea really where to start0 -

I have recently sold my first nappy cakeand the same lady has now ordered/requested a 'cake' for her granddaughter a 'big sister' gift the little girl is 5 and into girly princessy things. I have been to the Dinsey store and bought a few girly things today Little Mermaid purse and Dinsey Princess Tiara sunglasses in the sale £3 for the 2!! but not sure what else to put in really - any ideas? Would be much appreciated. I was thinking of assembling a towel/blanket cake and adding a 'big sis' choc lolly, big sis teddy and a few bits and pieces but I'm a bit stumped really as I have 3 boys !!!!!

Saw a Sainsbury's advert on TV last night that said all baby toileteries and wipes are half price. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

my son got on great at the hospital. he was rushed in by ambulance on sunday for suspected meningitis. turns out he had HSP, we'd never heard of it but basically he had a viral infection but instead of his body fighting the infection it started attacking the blood vessels mostly in his skin on his legs and bum which gave the rash that didn't fade when we did the glass test and his joints swelled so he couldnt walk. very scary but he's fine it can affect the kidneys and gut but hes been lucky and suffered no lasting effects except the bruising to his skin which looks like hes been involved in a serious accident - his lower legs is just one big bruise
I'm glad your sons ok, Its very scary when any child of yours is ill, My 19mth grandson was very ill will a temp of over 40 a couple of weeks ago, suspected swine flu. Shame about the bruising, hope it goes away soon.
Thanks for the instructions and piccies.
Take care
Nicky
