I settled on a teething blanket (comforter) with small teddy attached and bootees that say 50% Mummy 50% Daddy on them. I had a look at some of the £1 teddies in Asda and Poundland and they're hideous but the ones you guys use are really nice.
Hi
We all buy them from different places for example I buy mine wholesale, I avoid the £1 shop don't like the quality and they are usually for 3yrs and up, soft toys have to be from birth up if you are selling your nappy cakes, I spend between £1.50-£2.70 on my soft toys but I would spend more if I liked them, and of course I like them to be a certain size I personally don't like great big teddies on the top of a small tier, they don't look too bad on the single tiers though and need to be slightly larger.
Don't forget to put a photo of your cake on!!!

This is my twin one I just made. It looks less wonky in real life I promiseJust need to find a boy toy to put on top and get some blue ribbon and then wrap it up
I was thinking of charging £20 for it, do you think that's too much? It's got.. 35 nappies a short-sleeved body suit for each baby, a sleepsuit for each baby and two packets of huggies wipes.

Hi girls.
Just noticed that a few of you also have been using the shining star toys. I used to buy these from Home Bargains but they no longer seem to stock them
I've just discovered their website www.homebargains.co.uk has a comprehensive 'contact us' page so have sent them a message to request that they start stocking them again. If anyone else is in the same situation, drop them a line. You never know, if may just get them back on the shelves again0 -
Wow it's been quiet on here for a few days girls, what have you all been up to? I found a fantastic wholesale warehouse last week up in Bradford, the biggest in the country for cards, crafting, and yes soft toys..... got some lovely little bears for £1.75, a perfect size for the nappy cakes and they come in Pink, Blue and the elusive Neutral/Cream, I think he's really cute, what do you think? Safe from birth onwards as well...0
