  • made my first nappy cake today - of sorts anyway! worked out a bit more expensive that what i thought it would - its a two tier cake with 27 huggies new born nappies, two tommy tippie dummies, baby toothbrush, muslin square, baby hat, 3 boxes - first tooth, first curl and hospital baby bracelet, and two face clothes tied with a baby on board sign and ribbons and a white scotty dog adding it up it cost me about £10, am really quite chuffed with it and cant wait to do another one can anyone give me a rough idea what i should be charging? i do a lot of craft fairs and have never seen them at any so have no idea.
also can anyone give me an idea where to get large cello bags as i cant find them on the net anywhere - i did manage to get a couple by speaking to a local gift shop and paid £1 each so not sure if thats expensive or not.
    any help greatly appreciated.

  • I think that's the total price liz, she hasn't seperated it, so it's £40 for the cake then £7 postage. I do like her Kath Kidston cakes!

What are you like Liz .... lol.... must admit it did puzzle me to start with though...... wonder if she got permission to use the Cath Kidston items, I asked them if I could use their body product range for my pamper cakes last year at a trade fair and got told that under no circumstances would I be allowed to as Cath Kidston are very keen on not allowing their products to be used, which was a shame really because they look really pretty, I made a pamper cake for my daughter-in-law and she loved it, can't sell em on my website though :(

where do you get your teddies from? I got another order today and luckily have most of it but had to get a topper. I settled on a teething blanket (comforter) with small teddy attached and bootees that say 50% Mummy 50% Daddy on them. I had a look at some of the £1 teddies in Asda and Poundland and they're hideous but the ones you guys use are really nice.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J
