New Nappy Cake

hi everyone i am knew to this site only joined you today. i have been making nappy cakes for a while for friends and family but where do i go from here. is it easy to get a business off the ground. any help out there would be great.

Hi folks, quick wee question for you. If you sell your cakes online how do you package them up for sending? Does anyone sell them on ebay? Niki x

Yes I sell mine online, they are packed into white boxes and fit quite snug, I then just put some paper packing around the top as a void filler.
I tend to avoid Ebay to be honest as I have my website, there is nothing wrong with Ebay don't get me wrong as I am sure a lot of ladies sell on there but usually people want things cheap and if you do a completed listings search on nappy cakes there are not actually that many sold and quite a few not very good and loads that are really low priced, by all means give it a try but make sure you check out your competitors because you need to offer something better than they are, personally I'd go for more ingredients because as daft as it sounds people still like value for money lol....... keep your cakes tidy with neat bows, I also trim the top of the cellophane to complete the look and it gives a really neat finish.

Ah i bet he looked so sweet! I've got a gorgeous picture of Lewis my middle nepew in his uniform standing by he front door grinning like. Cheshire cat on his first day. It is such a cute picture.

Yes they came this morning and there lovely the P&P must of cost her a lot. Snap im going to use them on my one tier cakes :T
