New Nappy Cake

i also use around 30 nappies for a 3 tier, think the most i have ever used is 36.. i use around 50 nappies for my 4 tier cakes..

i did a fayre on the weekend and it went amazing.. didnt sell any of my big cakes but sold loads of little gifts and mini cakes and gave loads of business cards out.. loads said they loved my gifts and they would be contacting me when they needed a gift for a mum to be.. was so chuffed with how muh i made..

my mini cakes were wrapped but i left my big ones open so people could look inside of the cake as fairs i have been to in the past most of them wonder how there put together, so i just took i celo with me just incase i need to wrap one

also probley not the right place but as many of you make cakes and other gifts i bought today 6 tea plates and 6 tea cups from home bargains today for £1.99 going to use them for my face cloth cappucino etc

and also got a mug with a spoon that goes through the handle for £1 from poundland,nice mug aswell

My daughter said could you use nappies to make a head shape and stick a couple of googly eyes on then put the hat on or use baby towels. She's as crazy as me so feel free to ignore her . lol

when people were saying i am putting too many nappies in nappy cake how many nappies are people putting in each layer

all advice welcome trying to make cake as cost effective but nice as i can

and everyones cakes look fab

two tier i use 29,19 in the bottom 10 on top

three tier i use 32,19 bottom,10 middle and 3 top

Ladies, all your cakes are really lovely. My sister says I should consider making and selling them but I've not done very many and think I need to do a few more for friends and get their feedback on wether they are good enough

My friend bought all the bits and just asked me to 'present' them for her. She was really pleased with it - just waiting to hear how the recipient liked it.
