wow that is fab katie :T id love to tatty teddy one
only thing i can maybe suggest is getting a teddy from ebay, lots of people sell them on as there still in the box and unused.
did they also want a tatty teddy blanket?
i have a large micro fibre one which my OH got me from newlook a few years back,im also a massive tatty fan lol so maybe search ebay for a new one but i do know next do a tatty range.if they are willing to spend the money then i wouldn't worry.also marks and spencers do a baby gro, vests, booties and hat set for boy and girl which is lovely my daughter was bought one.
i will have a look around for u xx

Katie have a look in Clinton cards or Birthdays! They've got sales on! As for you cake you can easily make it look more expensive by personalising it. Get ribbon with little ones name on it or grandchild. Put in cupcake socks, washcloth lollipop just looks like you've gone to a bit more trouble.
If they are into tatty teddies they will know how expensive they are!!

Cotton wool katie, Well done! on your orders.
As for the "Tatty Teddy" cake - a while ago, i picked up some Valentines Tatty teddies (holding big red hearts) at a reduced rate as they can't get rid of them after 14 Feb. Anyway, after taking off the red hearts and replacing with a ribbon, they look lovely.
  • So glad I found this thread.

I have an appointment on the 18th August with the Chambers of Commerce for help setting up my nappy cake business. I've been through almost the full thread and saved some links and ideas, its really helped me to prepare for my appointment! Thankyou :)

I will be making nappy cakes, mum to be towel cakes and hampers, baby bouquets, sock cupcakes, sock roses, sock lollipops and butterflies, mummy and daddy celebration cakes and hopefully alot more.

If anyone has any information on how to make baby bouquets that would be great. I don't understand how you'd get the clothing on a stem if that makes sense.
