sorry chatty123, not been online all weekend & just noticed your reply, lovely cake. i didnt think it would be so difficult to find a red blanket but have been promised a lift to ikea soon so hopefully i will get one, i have a white hooded towel for the middle tier & if i cant find something for the top tier i will resort to getting a red hand towel, i am sure it will come in useful at some point & i have a cute white sheep for the top. i already have some lovely red ribbon, one has white polka dots & the other has hearts (might save that for another time as it might be a bit girly!). i havnt seen any muslin cloths in b&m lately, does anyone know if they still sell them or should i get some from tesco?
thank you to everybody for you help & advice xxx'there goes an old transexual, last seen heading south,

Hi PinkTiger, was thinking about you when in Ikea at the weekend. Saw the cheap red blanket in there. Did you know it had a patterned edge to it? Just thought i'd let you know

Just a quick question for those that make sock roses. Do you use rose leaves or any leaves? Been having a look around and the rose ones seem more expensive..

I always use TY Pluffies" Ducky" duck.
I previously paid just over £4 but they now seem to be over £6

also Primark had some really nice towels today with ducks and one with frogs on for £4 the way the duck was sewn onto the towel was in the middle not on the corner so would be ideal for nappy cakes as were big ones too nice quality

thanks snookles, luckily i had a look in matalan yesterday & found an England baby blanket, think it was £3, its white, red & navy blue. it was lucky as they wernt with the rest of the baby stuff but as i was waiting for my mum i decided to have a look round & they were on a seperate stand amongst the stuff for older kids, i also got some newborn England trainers for £4, soooooo cute. they had loads of England stuff, dummies, bibs etc but managed to contain myself! the baby is due on june 10th so he should look the part for the world cup, although his mum is french so i dont know how she will feel about that! but at least i didnt have to go with the man u scheme, i'm a die hard man city fan:D!Hi PinkTiger, was thinking about you when in Ikea at the weekend.
