XPF I'm with Staceylou on this, proper reusables (ie not just a terry square nappy cloth) cost a minimum of £7 per nappy and that is "cost" not retail price. Unless someon is willing to spend a huge amount of mony there is no way you could do it.Have a look at the website below to give you an idea of types and prices. It's also a bit of a minefield to know which reusables the new parents will want to be using.

Lizalloareds lovely cake. Nice to see the pics, well done.

I agree with everyone about the "real nappy" question!

When I read it, I thought you must be joking - £20???

They are so expensive and to be honest, if I was the mother and wanted to use these nappies, I would definately want to choose my own because of the expense involved.

Good idea fromm jojo_saphire to use the "Bio" ones as an alternative, but to be honest, you will still be pushed at £20

    Good Luck!

There's resusable nappy cakes on Etsy that are between 200 - 450 USD. No way you could make it for that price

Have spoken to customer and they didn't realise how expensive reusables are. I'm now looking at using terrys for it.

I think it's also because there are just so many different types now that I think as Moonpenny says most Mums will want to choose their own. It's a big decission to use washables and something they won't have entered into without having done a lot of reseach first and probably decided which types are best for them and their lifestyle.

    Lovely cake!

Am really excited - a friend has printed out some of my Facebook nappy cake pictures & shown them around their work & they want a price list. They would like one already for August, but as I'd suggested a range of prices, they needed the list to see what went into each price.

Hopefully will see a few more orders from it! :j

Lovely cakes ladies. I gave my first ever one as a present a couple of weeks ago and the recipient was completely underwhelmed :(.

Thought I would carry on regardless and I've just made 2 more, a new baby one and a 'beach babe' one

    Hope you like them :)

Oops sorry the pictures are so large :o
It's easier to get forgiveness than to ask permission ;)
