Your bouquet is lovely ebaybaby! Is there a certain tape thats better to use? As i was looking on a certain auction site and just got so confused (babybrain) by different wire and tapes that i gave up!

Sorry just re-read your question and relaised my answer made no sense at all, (and I have'nt even got a baby!!!!!)

I went to my local floristry supplies shop and bought Hobby wire which is black and does leave marks so I had to cover mine in tape, I wanted the green plastic covered wire then i would have only had to cove a 1/4 of the way down.

This is what i wanted, and this is the tape i used.

Everyone on this thread seems to be so positive (as well as talented!) and really generous - sharing ideas and helping. :A

I'm just amazed at how many different nappy cakes it's possible to make and how they all look so different - it's wonderful and I'm loving it!

Sally - tks v much for your offer of help with the website - I'm going to give it another go over the weekend - so watch this space!

Im going to have another try at posting links to photoshttp://i947.photobucket.com/albums/ad320/lastminutej/nappy%20cakes/

 I just can't get it to link to my album or more than one pic at a time. I'll try again when I'm calmer.

Individual sock cupcakes and maybe some sock rose buds?

Sock pints for the men and even ladies sock rose buds do well too. Ladies sock cupcakes too!

hiya, thanks for the website advice. I've decided to have 3 designs of each (maybe only 2 brown/cream) and stick to doing one offs on facebook or with people.

I would love to do the washcloth or burpcloth lollipops but can't find either anywhere, I did find some baby washcloths but they were over £1 each !
