Asda have the Baby Event on ..... huge box of Huggies (only saw size 4 ) of 168 nappies for £13 also babywipes and clothing etc on special offer .... I picked up some Xmas bits " My 1st Christmas " T shirt for 25p!! And some cute outfits for £1.... now need to squirrel them away before OH sees :P

I dont im sorry i just googled soft toys and was one of them maybe you could email them they have loads of stuff wholesale for allsorts and other baby stuff too .

Hi girls,
I want to ask you sth as I'm starting up with all this and read a lot so need to be sure:
1. are you self-employed and if yes how does it looks with NI and Tax ? and do you have invoices or what?
2. are you selling only on website (if you have one) and ebay and ofcourse by friends and family or did you tried to go to local Florist or Gift Shops etc. (I want do that but don't know if I'll found someone to take it and put into the window)
3. do you work at home and have to pay for working area - if you know what I mean..
4. Does jobcentre help somehow and Revenue (I've read that Revenue has some free course to teach basic bookkeeping etc.)

I think that's all if I will have new one I'll ask later

I love that Elephant and would like it but 100 pounds it's too much for me now I could give 20-25 for begining so 10 elephants..

I've bought at ebay a lovely ribbon in beige with little face and it says: HELLO BABY - it's really cute :j

I may be interested in the elephants and splitting an order but it might not be verycost effective when you work out postage for them when they are posted on I guess the package may be quite large although shouldnt be too heavy.

Kate, yes you have to register as self employed -your local tax office will run coures on starting businesses, book/record keeping etc and look at business link they are useful too. Self Employment is easy fill in a tax return at the end of the tax year thats it. I pay NI through my regular job so don't pay any extra but if you dont have another income you will have to if your earnings are over a certain amount. I sell via my website and at craft fairs and mostly word of mouth. HTH X

The details for the boy ellie say thay have girl ones however i cant fnd them on the website! but they look very cute

they have pram fleece blankets £1 in cream, pink & blue.
& 300ml Johnsons bath shampoo & lotion for £1

Not been on here in a while, not had chance with one thing and another. Hope you all had a great Christmas and although its late "All the Best for 2010"

Now back to what i wanted to ask lol, Where can I get Cello wrap, looking for 60cm wide (been using 50cm but stuggling to cover 3 tier cakes because of width). Where do you buy it from? I usually buy from Hobbycraft, but its a 8 mile journey and if I can get it elsewhere, online?
Help I need it ASAP.
