  • Don't back down on that Giggle thats absolutely outrageous! Would she ring a wholesaler and demand cheaper prices I think not!!! How absurd!
With the time, craft and effort in making them its not worth the hassle for £2 you can't be making them for much less than that anyway!
I always struggle with trying to come up with wholesale prices as I feel that I should leave the customer with a fair profit - generally this does mean they make more than you though :( Frustrating isn't it!
Hope you sort it out soon
How about telling her you can do it for £2 but it won't contain the bowl or spoon - just the vest :rotfl:she how she likes that! lol!

Can i ask any of you what would you do. I have been asked by someone if they could buy some of my baby icecreams off me (here is a link to them) she wanted a deal on them i sell them at craft fairs for £3.50 so i said i could do them at £3.25 well she loved them and now wants more 40 for now them maybe more (she does have a shop) but wait for it she wants them for £2.00 each her words where at £3.25 im making more then enough on them there is no way well in my head there is no way £2.00 each is anywhere near enough or am i being silly would you do it for £2.00 each. There is the bowl spoon and vest plus the wrapping and ribbon with a flower to make it look nice and then the tag

  • Is it possible to have this, and the other thread linked on a main board somehow, like they do over in the OS board, so for us newbies so there's an index we can look to...I think it would help enormously, and also be quicker than looking all the way through the posts and having duplicate questions

  • The pots are lovely giggle, I wouldnt back down either!

Well ive managed to get a few bits from the shops to make my 1st nappy cake & have made the cake but feel a bit deflated as am waiting for some deliverys of things i ordered online so am limited to what I can make it with so will probably put it to one side & pick it up again once I have my deliverys of goodies :-)

its totally addictive though, I can see me making loads once I get going ;-)

  • Thats such a pain when that happens - it drives me mad. I get going ready to make them up and then realise I am missing something - grrr! lol! It happens all the time!

Plus got loads more orders for pamper cakes :D but have posted those pics on the towel cake thread so I don't clog this thread with my piccies!
