  • MoonPenny - I got the Lion from Clintons cards online in the sale I only paid £2.99 the tag says £13.99!!! Someone made a mistake lol!
I am in a panic today as the shop that is going to stock some of my cakes has got in touch to say that they are ready to open any day now - aargh!!! Better get baking - but have 3 poorly boys at home and feeling flued up myself isn't that just typical! Plus went shopping this morning to get some last minute bits and pieces and they didn't seem to have anything in the shops at all!!!! I did find some Xmas bibs in Matalan though :)
I seem to have a run on ladies sock cupcakes, mens sock pints and pamper hampers too! There aren't enough hours in the day! lol!
Proud mummy to 3 beautiful boys! :D

carlymummy - Thought the lion looked expensive! I seem to be spending more on toys than I used to.

Really feel for you with all that you have to do, and 3 boys too!
I,m quite glad at the moment that I am just plodding along. Got lots of things going on at the moment as well, but not to do with cakes.

You'r right about the shops being poor - maybe they are not stocking up like they normally do. Blankets have litterally dissapeared. The £3 ones anyway - apart from Primark.
Been trying to finish a couple of xmas cakes (been on with these for ages) Everytime I have a go I have to start something else, or babysitting etc. Will be Easter at this rate. LOL

Hi, I've just been making up a BLUE 3 tier cake order and thought I'd share my news/warn you all ............

Huggies (size 3) Super Dry ......... have changed their nappy design :mad::eek::mad::eek:

Instead of being completely white and having the winnie the pooh band around the top ...... I now have a load of nappies which are a mixture of peach/white with winnie the poohs all over them!!!!!!

I am sure they'd look lovely when doing a WTP cake ........ but one hell of a pain doing a baby blue one ...... I like to leave the one tier uncovered, showing the nappies, plus it's given me the extra expense of using an extra muslin cloth.

I was AM so annoyed, especially as I've compared my old and new huggie boxes and they are identical .... showing the old nappy design :mad:

Nooo! They don't sound nice at all! I even pick out the tigger ones from huggies (or rather old huggies) to put in my tigger cakes, i was looking at some american diaper cakes and saw how pretty their coloured nappies are but not peach with WTP or thats the only design!

I tell ya, I'm gutted. I so love my nappies to be white too.
I was planning on getting 2 boxes, but luckily, I couldn't be bothered to queue at the cash point to get out some more cash.
Forgot to add that they are also covered in pink, blue and peach spots too !!!

Candy thanks for letting us know - thats really annoying!!! I bought a pack on fri and they were the white ones - better hot foot it back to tesco and buy up the old stock lol
  • Hiya,

I was gonna post about this! I use Huggies size 4 for my son bought a box when asda had them at £8 not only are they pattern all over but the quality is terrible, worse than supermarket nappies!! The design of this box was different, so when i stocked up at costco i made sure that i got the old stye box however just opened the size 4 and they are a different design again kinda small pooh eyore etc all over! havent used them yet but have 18 of them so i hope they are better quality!

On the huggies website it said that they have changed the design to make nappy changing more fun & easy!! LOL nothing makes changing my 11 month olds nappy easier other than another pair of hands to pin him down!!

I have a small 102 & large 210 box of huggies size 3's i'm praying that these might be ok if not i will be swapping to pampers simply dry or the nurture care nappies! Might try tesco or lidls for my son.

    Jo
