Fantastic cakes everyone!! Popkins - That night gaden one is gorgeous!! Yes I agree with alyssa_liss - that zebra cake is lovely!

I am trying to do a peppa pig one for my daughter for xmas - shes out of nappies though so not entirely sure what I'm gonna do the layers out of! So far have a peppa towel, hot water bottle and pj's - think will get some smellies and slippers soft toy and a few other bits.

How old is your daughter?? I am guessing 2-3?
My daughter is 2.5 and we have managed to get some lovely bits from next today, some large picture cards, £4 and they do straws with peppa on and also little peppa pig figures they are all ideal sizes to put inside something like a nappy cake (even without the nappies ;)) Also in Claires accesories they have a lovely little necklace and bracelet set which is also peppa pig these are also £4 and perfect for little peppa fans (my daughter has had hers about 6 months now?)

  • Hi just a few questions can you tell me which cakes are usually the best sellers . Do the bath cakes sell well i'm intending to have a go at making some to sell and raffle to raise funds for a little girl with a brain tumour who needs to go to america for treatment.
Re towels my b&m had some today for 1.99 they had pink with a fairy on, blue with footballs and white with a little red truck they were only a little bigger than hand towels would these be ok? sorry for so many questions.

  • craftygranny i have more orders for my bath time ones than anything, I also sell quite a few baby hampers that contain clothes and a teddy but no nappies. last week i had 2 orders for bath time cakes and this week i have had 3 for the 3 tier ones i do but they are waiting to know the sex for def before they choose. I guess it all depends on the price and who they are giving them to.

I have had people really want a 3 tier but if it is say for a friend or work mate they won't pay the price so go for something a bit cheaper like my bathtime cakes. All my 3 tier orders have been for people to give to close relations so they are more willing to part with the money.

You can get cheap hooded towels from HB

If you are going to raffle one off i would make a 3 tier people are more likely to have a go. But let us know on the other thread what you would like us to do to help you know we are more than happy to donate things.

    Oh wow....Fantastic.....love the motorbike one...really great.:T
  • Hey,
:TLove the Night Garden one, Zebra and all the bath time ones. must try doing a few more bath ones. Also the Motorbike is fab....I certainly could not do it better!
I saw Peppa Pig wipes in poundland a while ago.....all ages need wipes! Also colouring bits and sticker bits with Peppa on in there.
Sainsburys has some peppa pig blankets but they are about £6 off the top of my head. They have some bargains on candles if you are in there on a regualar basis....I use a couple of candles in each Pamper Hamper Cake.
  • Thanks louby lou lou . My heads spinning with it all at the moment. The bath time cakes look really cool.

Angelkay that motorbike is fab .
