For all you ladies that do not have a website can I ask how you advertise please?
There are very little or no craft fairs in my area, I have no idea now to make a website so my sales so far have been by word of mouth which is not the way to go to make sales
I did a few leaflets but have just given them to friend's. Where do I go from here?0 -

thanks! Xmas stuff it is! I'd better get cracking!
lrlrip - I started of with just word of mouth sales and put a few leaflets up in places and I also 'forgot' some and left on tables in kids soft play -I got one order by doing that! Hubby is in the process of doing me a website as hes into website design so at least that won't cost me anything. I think you can get cheapish oones you do yourself but I'm not sure how good they are or what they are like.
Rummer - as to where to shop for nappy cake stuff just have a good look around. I get my stuff from various places and don't have one set place. Obviously it depends on how much you want to spend doing it. Asda Baby event is on now so have loads of baby stuff on offer at the moment. My local TK Maxx had quite a few nice baby bits reduced this week but it varies from store to store.0 -
Good evening all!
Yes I do my christmas cakes just the same way as the standard nappy cakes...only they are mainly white with red christmas bits on them.
Went past a Card Factory today and they had loads of great toys (probover1 year) also don't know how much as did not get to go in -bless screaming baby boys!
also found set of 2 plastic forks and spoons Thomas the Tank branded only in plastic wrap for 50p in Tesco! I think I went a bit mad and brought 20!
Sell them on at the fairs and shows for £2 a set! or use in nappy cakes if any left!
Also Poundland had packs of Thomas the Tank and Peppa Pig wipes.
need to get making!
I am in process of making up some leaflets, need to get them finished by next sat.
anyway... better stop waffling now!0
