Hi. Just to say we have this problem as well.
With us it always happens on channel 5 and Virgin+1. Normal virgin channel is fine.
It is very irritating!Nice to know it isn't just us though.

Which make/model Digibox is this problem affecting?
(Look on the label underneath.)0 -
I know its an amstrad, but my other half will kill me if I start moving it cos of the wire there! lol! We rang sky on their flamin' 0844 number was stuck in a queue for ages and the engineer could only suggest we watch everything on the box and then he'll wipe the HDD clean. We haven't rung back yet.
We don't record anything on virgin so I can't say if that is affected.:kisses2: Got married September 2011:smileyhea

Tell you an additional odd thing I have noticed it always cuts off some of top gear! We've even set 10 mins buffers and re-recorded it and it STILL cuts off before the end. The other week it cut off the beginning!
Does anyone else have this issue?:kisses2: Got married September 2011:smileyhea

I dont have the C5 problem but I do have the Top Gear problem. Its so annoying that my boys come home from their dads early on sundays because the sky+ always messes it up0

Just an update here. Past few weeks I've been recovering from a big operation. I bought a Sagem digibox & set it up on the bedroom TV & I've been recording all my programmes on this. & guess what, CSI & Ch 5 films are fine on this. So, its something to do with the Sky + box.:smileyhea A SMILE COSTS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING0

It looks like it is just more " Murdoch Control " to me, you pay him, he tells you what you can and can't do..
Ever wondered why you cannot delete channels on a Sky Receiver, when you can on most other Satellite Receivers.0
