    What a beautiful day!
I'm hoping to clear up some of the little jobs that are niggling me instead of going to town and therefore stop me spending anything!!!
We're doing well at the moment, still have the odd wobble but i'm impressed how DH and DS1 & 2 have joined in and understood what I'm trying to do!;)
Hope everyone's day is a good one :T

Hello, I'm declaring my month's spend for June = £89.08

DS is away all this week, so there's no more to be bought and I have powdered milk if I run out of UHT. (UHT is still 49p per litre in Ald!) We certainly aren't running short of eggs - I have 2 dozen in the the fridge at any given time despite using about 4 to 6 per day. The baking, however, is having a very bad effect on my weight. I think I need to join the diet thread. :rotfl:

    Annual total spend to date = £787.53 / £1200

The garden NEEDS to produce plenty of food from July onwards or I'll never keep within my £1200 annual budget!

Hope everyone is well and that others get well soon. Sorry I haven't been keeping up but please feel free to PM me if there's anything I should know, just in case I miss any important announcements.
I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

    Hi all

Trying to have NSD today as going out for lunch tomorrow with a friend from work.

Have just totted up the receipts from this month and they come to £271.64 + my OH got a £9.60 leg of lamb which is in the freezer so £281.64 and budget of £250 currently £31.64 over and probably £20 still to spend over weekend of f & v.

Will give grand total on Tuesday.

Can you put me down for £250 again in July please - I will try again. August we are on holiday for 2 weeks in our caravan so need to save some money to take with us!

Thank you for all the support this month folks.

    Hello peeps,

Small spend of £9.66 in MrT today. DS1 off on cub camp this weekend and needed 'midnight feast tuck', also managed to get whoopsied chicken breast for £2.65, toffee crisp cookies for 38p, 12 x warburton sliced rolls for 35p, mini choc doughnuts for 41p, 3 x hayfever tablets and a full-priced jar of korma sauce. Not too bad....

Have meal-planned up to and including Thursday next week. Lots of yellow stickers in the freezer but what the hey? It's all edible.

Tuna/pasta bake with brocolli for tea tonight, followed by the doughnuts :D

    Off to update sig.

Hi everyone I've not been around as much as usual recently :o but have still been tracking my spends. It looks like I'll come in under budget again this month :T :j as I've done my final 'big shop' and only have milk & bread to buy before next Weds. £18.58 left in the budget so it should cover that easily. I'll get back to regular reading/posting on next months challenge so see you all there

    1st July spends for me!

£28.75 on Costco membership, although this is halved to £14.37 as my friend took the "spouse" card option and will therefore be paying for half of my membership, hurrah!

Then went a little nuts in Costco :o and spent the following:

2kg of chicken breast fillets £14.37 Now portioned up and in five freezer bags, hurrah!
Catsan cat litter - massive bag x 2 This would be £8.49 on Asda online (More in store IIRC) but was £5.95 per bag, so spend of £11.90
Felix x 48 pouches £9.53 Not a huge saving, but worth buying in bulk, as my cats hate Whiskas :rotfl:
Chewing gum £6.26 for 30 packs but this is being split with my friend so £3.23 for me. Since I quit smoking I need to have chewing gum to hand at all times.
1.2kg jar (!) of peanut butter for Mr Fresian. He loves the vile stuff. £3.99
Multi-pack of lint rollers. As you can tell from the shopping list, I have moggies. These are essential! £5.57
Booze for my dad (Didn't see him on Fathers Day!) so bottle of 10 year old Macallan whisky for £16.96. So good a price apparently that my mum asked me to buy two more :rotfl: Just checked Asda online to compare and it's £28.17 there :eek:

So, total spend at Costco today was........

    £79.92:eek:

Not too bad in fairness as I won't have to buy catfood/litter again this month and have loads of chicken which will make a nice change from all the mince we've been eating of late. Parents are visiting this weekend, which means I can do a big shop for canned goods and so forth, and will have nice stocked cupboards for a long time :j

Got a few bargains in MrT this evening - just happened to be there when the bakery lady was slashing prices on small baguettes, cookies etc so grabbed a few of them for the freezer (Plus 6 doughnuts for 19p as a special treat) :j Also got some bbq chicken drumsticks reduced which we'll have tom evening with lettuce from our garden and other salad things and new potatoes.

I've just done a MrT online shop for delivery Monday evening so all being well we will be under budget for the first time in absolutely ages...:jNot declaring until Monday! I used the £10 off code from this website which has worked.

Beautiful hot weather here in Devon... Good luck everyone.

Someone mentioned uniform in ASDA being on offer. Did you happen to see how much the blazers are? DS needs a new one!
