    23 NPower. Live Collections department (Pre-court collections on open accounts)

    Wages based on a 27.5 hour (full time) contract:

    Pay grade A (New Hire)
    £12,500 approx per yr
    Pay grade B (completion of training)
    £14,000 approx per yr
    Pay grade C (Hitting all productivity targets)
    £16,500 per yr approx.

    Antisocial hours pay (For those whose contracted shift occurs entirely or partly after 6pm on weekdays or on Saturdays)
    £1.500 per yr approx

    Benefits:

    Free eye care vouchers.
    On-site OH nurse, doctor and medical examinations.
    Reward points worth £100 per year if you have gas/elec with NPower.
    Discounted membership to many health clubs.
    Many discounted services including insurance, flights etc.
    Training that is equivalent to some qualification or other, I think it's 2 a-levels or a GNVQ or similar. I'll find out on Monday.
    Discounted private dental insurance for the employee and their family.
    28 days of holiday per year. (Offices closed on bank holidays, christmas day and new years)

    That's everything i can think of offhand, I'll add more as I remember them.

    I'm 27, £28.5k + healthcare & pension from Credit Controller/Programmer job

    Earnt additional £40k in last year tax free from being pro gambler.
  • Self-employed.Spend more on the business at the moment than I make from it ,still finding my feet,so earnings nil.Luckily I have a brilliant partner who is happy and able to pay the bills at home in the meantime.
    I also am not making any profit just yet but building my business. I enjoy the challenge even though I am currently operating at a loss.

    I'm a project worker - working with kids aged 16-18 in care and I get £5.75 per hour.
    Have just qualified as a reflexologist aswell so when i get some clients i will get £27 per hour for that.
