    £10860 (special support assistant in a primary school- 25 hours a week) absolutely awful pay, it's also term time only. I only do it because of the kids. Need to find something else!
  • 22 Call centre agent, 15.9k pre-tax, too many benefits to mention them all. I've never worked for a company that has thrown benefits out of you like they're going out of fashion.
    Debating going back to NHS as a HCSW even if it does mean it'll be a slight paycut on basic, but the shift incentives do help.

    28 years old, just accepted a new job in USA on £62k as senior analyst for a transport firm. Looking forward to travelling around USA and nearby countries:j
    • Four weeks A/L + 10 days bank holidays- new employees usually get just two weeks A/L :eek:
    • Health insurance
    • 3 months notice- it's usually nothing:eek:
    • Get 9% of salary in pension put with company putting in 4% of this

    I used to live in Australia, and I noticed that salaries were much higher there than in the UK.
