    Currently £35k will be £39k once training complete with regular structured pay rises after that. This includes a shift allowance.
    Private medial cover
    Average 37 hours a week
    258.2 hours holiday a year
    Double time overtime
    p[ension, life assurance, generous sick yada yada yada

    However, as a shift worker. I work 2 weekends out of 4, sometimes xmas, bank holidays and new years eve/day etc Although they are 12 hour shifts means I only work 14 days a month.
    Aiming to be debt free by Xmas 2020

    I'm a Senior Housing Benefits officer for a private outsourcing company. 37½ hours pw, £20k pa +bonus, lots of benefits, decent pension, health insurance etc and the biggest perk of them all, working from home :D

    FE Lecturer (I also do training so get more then a standard lecturer) - £30,900

    30 days holiday..Pensions meant to be good but Im not in it.

    Like others I feel I get far too little for working with 200-odd students a year, but it is what it is.

    Made redundant from my huge paper round 20 odd years service so nice 2k+ payment.

    Moved from agency wkend litter pick to 30 hour contract with LA as a mobile caretaker. salary 12k + overtime and mileage pension etc.:T Down side split shifts mornings and evenings and plenty of toilet cleaning :rotfl: But inside work out the weather;)

    I have never been mis sold anything but i have bought a few things i didnt need!

    The perk is I only put down what I can work, the downside is you could get two shifts......
    Cleared my debts trying to colour in the lines money wise now...
