I'm 26 and work as an Anti Social Behaviour Co-ordinator for a Housing Association, I earn £20K a year plus get a company car, 29 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and flexi time. I put up with a lot of sh*t for that though!!
  • Right so now I'm depressed!!!
I'm 25 on 14k as an administrator at a planning consultancy that has no work! I get 21days holiday(3 HAVE to be used at xmas!) and all bank holidays. And can you believe this is better than my last job:eek:

I currently spend my days on MSE, trawling the internet on how to spend less, picking up deals, looking for other jobs and trying to decide on a career! (I have a short list but can't afford to pay for Uni:mad:)
And if my boss is lucky I might even do the token gesture marketing e-mails/letters!
    1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

I know exactly how you feel. I'm in a dead end admin job and I'm only on 14k but I'm 37years old so quite a bit older than you. I am looking at going to Uni again to get a second degree or a Master's as I think doing so will open up more doors.

It's really depressing reading about how much other people are making especially all the younger ones. I am in Northern England so I know the wages are lower and there aren't made jobs available.

I'm a civil servant in England, we get 8 public holidays and 2.5 'privilege days', so 10.5 days in total.
