Currently seeking a job in Graphic Design :D

    Hiya,

I'm in the same line of work, been doing it for 4 years now, and stuck on 18k, doesn't look like I'll be getting any pay rises for a while yet :( Lucky to have a job I suppose.

    Age: 25
Job: CAD Technician / space planner / surveyor
    Salary: £18,000
    Benefits: Hmm, having a job?

    Scientist, 30k a year.
Perks include a good pension and lots of flexibility in terms of working hours. I come and go as I please but the work always has to get done.

I am 38, so I kind of feel I have failed in my career. I know people who have become professors at a younger age than I am now, earning twice my salary.

    Clean Room Technician, 21K year.

Good pension and a degree of freedom as stated by Mike.

Science is a tricky field to make direct comparisons in - my boss just won the nobel prize age 36!
No way I'm going to do that in 6 years.
However, if I'm on 30K aged 38 I'll be very happy indeed.

Yes, that's ten and a half thousand.

I make that 10.5 million, you must be a banker.

I am a Chartered Surveyor (in investment, not quantity or building), working for a property company in central London.

I earn £38,800, of which £5,000 is a 'car allowance', although it doesn't have to be spent on a car!

Other benefits include pension, season ticket loan, subsidy for gym, medical insurance and some other random bits.

I'm 25 and generally happy with it, but I should actually be on £50k+ according to the salary bandings I've seen around the office, so still feeling a bit underpaid at the moment.

Nearly 40k at 25.... pretty lucky!!! Are you married?

  • Im 24, a hotel receptionist and earn £6.50ph. Shifts vary week to week, they've all been reduced at the moment, so if it carries on like it has, i'll be earning about 8k this year!

I am a full time domestic cleaner, including ironing and I earn £12 an hour, working on average 35 hours a week. This is largely dependant on geographic area.
