I'll try again with IE and/or Firefox tomorrow. See if I can get it to work properly. I was beginning to wonder if I was going crazy - I've filled in hundreds of forms on the Internet but never found one as odd as this!

after all this wait since doing pre screener test I have been turned down - feeling very despondent to say the least all i can think is that maybe they want people from different backgrounds or something

Bit bizarre, got an email to tell me congrats I have passed the screen test - but . . . there are no judge vacancies, so would I like to be an assessor?

Answer: negative.

What's wrong with being an assessor? I like it you could always work your way up.

Nothing wrong with being an assessor.

Its the fact they congratulated me then said, basically, but there's no job for you anyway!

i thought there were different tests for the judge role? thats the one i wanted to do but i just did the prescreen test for the assessor role and did not get a test for judge role. id like to know how i supposedly failed the prescreen test as im not that stupid!! it had asked for stuff to be sent back withint 48 hrs of email but i was away so im worried thats what cuased me to fail which is crap. im just annoyed as id at least like to know what i actually got wrong so i can see the proof and its not for some other reason

Meanwhile - I still haven't heard a thing from them!! However open university have acknowledged my application and shall be shortlisting for some of the courses i've applied to teach in the next month or so and apparently if i've not heard by a month before the course start date i've not been successful so fingers crossed there!

Thats well pants angel - could be that you sent it back after 48hrs had passed, but then why take so long to tell you that you've not passed?
