The prescreen is an Excel document. It is 1 sheet with 2 sections on it. Section 1 explains the test and section 2 is the test itself.
Is there anything actually written in the excel document? (please don't say what or give any detail as you need to be aware of their strict confidentiality procedures).

Yeh there is. It's not the pre screen test. I know that for definate now. It's somebody's results or at least looks to be somebody's results. (I hope that saying that doesn't breach the confidentiality issue) :S I dunno why they've sent it to me though. Pretty weird.

Have you got excel and adobe installed on your computer to open them with? Or do you know someone who has?

Yeh I do. I have both. The adobe document says that the pre screen test is attached, basically says what the email says. [It's like all lionbridge adobe documents really, where the attachment is always what is written in the email] But the excel spreadsheet is not the test. It's like i've said somebody's results. I've emailed them and everything and they said they'd get back to me, but can't do it quickly because of the high volume of applications they've been getting for the role.

I'm still waiting for my study material and exam entry - they did say I should have it by Wed 15th July tho I was hoping for it sooner rather than later.

If the system is the same as it was when I did it about 5 weeks ago, they will send it to you on Weds early afternoon, for return to them by the deadline the following Thursday. They give you a week, and marking is done automatically on Thursdays. My result came through about 4 hours after the deadline, but I know other people who've waited much longer.
    Good luck!

    hi there,
i'm considering putting in my application. I know you cannot go into detail about what the job entails, but can i ask - is it Difficult?? i mean, is it genuinely taxing, is the test one which makes you sweat, a bit like the ones that AQA give you? I seem to meet their criteria, but i really don't want a stressful job as i already have a couple of those. Not lazy, just don't want to bite off more than i can chew:o cheers.

Got the proper pre test screener sent to me yesterday, thank god. :D Attached it to my profile straight away.

Got sent an email today saying that I may be suitable candidate given my profile [so I'm guessing this means that I must have passed the pre test screener.] Anyway accepted the terms and conditions and everything and now need to wait for the exam. Ahh, I can already imagine it being so hard, but hopefully I can do this.

If you got the terms and conditions you passed the pre-test screener - congrats. I received my exam yesterday and have now completed and passed the theory part - YAY  , now I have to do the practical part which is going to take a lot longer!

Good luck for the exam when you receive it princess.

Katym79 - There is a lot to take in with regards to guidelines and the exam requires some brain power, but i'm told the job it's self does get easier as you get used to it. You could always try to pass the exam and then see how the job goes for you.

    Hi everyone

I'm in the process of applying for this, but its asking me for proof of English Competency on the wizard. I don't have anything like this, should I just send without it?
