I have just been on my council's web site (Bury)and it states" you may only appeal within the first six months of becoming the Council Tax payer"
So does this mean TUFF I have lived in my house for 15 years!
The banding is also unrealistic for the currant house prices, so is it just a non starter?

council tax is based on thevalue of your property compared to the average local property. So it doesn't matter if your property has fallen in value. So has everyone's elses. There's no point in complaining on this basis.Krusty & Phil Madoff, 1990 - 2007:
