Q. Do you use your Credit Cards for cash withdrawals?
If the answer is no, never then why not change all your Credit Cards to Chip & Signature?
A Chip & Signature Card is much more cardholder 'friendly' when it comes to a disputed transaction when fraud is committed.0 -
I once lost my card. Phoned up my bank and got a new card and PIN. The PIN I was sent was the PIN I had!"The reason we're successful, darling? My overall charisma, of course." -- Freddie Mercury

LOL freaky - sometimes though if you get a replacement PIN it is the same as the one you use.... but I know someone that changed his pin, lets say to 8494 and then he got a credit card with a different bank and guess what the pin was? you guessed it 8494! funniest thing was thats the years of birth of his kids (1984/1994).... spooky!2010 - year of the troll

Debit cards have debit on them whereas credit do not. Quite simple really....
Sorry, just don't believe what i'm reading - load of nonsense. If you're telling me that a half eductaed person cannot remember a 4 digit number then we all have issues - not just them
LOL :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
First Direct Visa and Maestro cards looks almost identical apart from the logo in the corner differing. There is no debit or credit written on them, it would be an easy mistake in a rush!I'm going for my QuidCo £million!

Its NOT a PIN Number, it makes no sense.
Yah. It's obviously and clearly an error. Considering I had only just woken up seconds before starting this topic, I'm quite surprised I had not messed it up more. We’ve had to remove your signature. I'm going to go and buy some petrol now and IF the assistant so much as DARES to say "enter your PIN number" I will give them a lecture on correct terminology just for the hell of it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I hear them say it all the time. Never really took much notice. I'm sure that'll be quite amusing, correcting everyone who says it.
It must be like one of those weird things people have a habbit of saying.. just like people saying 'o' instead of ZERO when speaking phone numbers. :rotfl:We’ve had to remove your signature. Sorry mate - I cannot comprehend that mis-reading visa/maestro as a legible excuse lol
comeone, it'd be easier to miss the word debit. But in principle, you know what i'm trying to say - that people should know what card does what!2010 - year of the troll

Yeah, i say 'o' instead of 'zero', but i've noticed when i say it to foreign call centres they always correct me.
As for pin numbers, i can't remember them as well as i used to (old age i'm afraid). So now i have just 2 pin numbers for all my cards. I don't have to remember which card has which pin. If i tap in the wrong pin the 1st time then i'm guaranteed to get it right the 2nd time
. I don't like the idea of having the same pin number for all my cards, so this works for me.

or mix and matching between "zero" and "nought" and "oh"
"my phone number is zero seven oh eight nought ...."
how annoying!0
