dmp questions

    ive just done the debt thing online again and got the dmp thing sent out.
    i got three of my oh's wages added and divided to do his income is this ok.
    what happens now will they speak to us about it/ send someone out to talk to us, or is it all done by post?
    as most of the debt is with our bank lloyds tsb im a bit worried about how they will react to the dmp we are paying them 950 a month but the dmp came out with 435 for creditors we have 11 to split this with theres no way they will accept this is there?

    Groceries budget is not necessarily about going without food, it;s about eating well within budget. Also included in my budget was cleaning products and loo roll etc, but you don't buy those every week or every month so that leaves a bit extra for food.
    Debt 30k in 2008.:eek::o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free :)
    Mortgage free since 2014 :)

    If it makes you feel any better.. my offers (for now) .. are £59 between 13 (!!) of them. A couple of them are getting £1!

    and no .. no visits.. it will be done on the phone and via post.

    which may also be why Hitachi Capital (DFS Sofa) told me to take a running jump.. ;)

    But I am persevering for now.. they cant have what I don't have to give.

    anyone ever been taken to court? had charging orders on their houses ect
    im so worried about lloyds anyone had dealings with them?

    CO's worry me but nothing has happened in 18 months. As long as you are being seen to be paying your debts then I think the courts look favourably upon you.

    hi blueye,
    lloyds- make sure you open a brand new account away from anything to do with lloyds.
    most creditors prefer to get some money rather than none at all. it was First Direct that told me i needed to sort our debts! and they recommended the CCCS. and that was the best thing i ever did!!
