Glad that things are on the way to getting done for you - it CAN be time consuming, it CAN be frustrating - and if on the other side, they collect payment and send you a cheque - just make sure that you are aware the cheques from US/Canada CAN take up to six weeks to clear. One month mine will be cleared the next day, the next one takes four weeks etc. Currently waiting on three cheques to clear which will be all of his arrears, and Jan and Feb child support payments. January got sent back to them due to insufficient postage - another 'warning' of delayed payments as they are not used to sending payments overseas! But.......good for you - stick it out and you will get there
Hope you have a great half term with the kids, mine starts next week and looking forward to it0 -
I'll be glad to go back to work, DDs got her prom this year and she hasn't grown into the 'bargain' dress I bought last year so she's got another, £29 reduced from £169, luckily alterations through the 2nd shop will only cost £20 for both, my usual lady quoted £45 to alter the original dress, accessory shopping tomorrow :jmakes me wish I was 15 again0

Do you work term time too? I love it - holidays are great with the kids, and just when you've had about enough with work, it's time for half term again
lol enjoy the preps for prom - expensive - prom, yearbooks, hoodies, after party - lol - oh, and don't forget the clairol to cover your gray hairs - 'cos if you don't have them yet, they'll be on the way!! lol

I'm termtime +2 wks. My old job was jobshare a week on and week off which was bliss but didn't cover the bills, worked full time when someone went on maternity leave but it was too much looking after 2 kids and a house so when this job came up it was ideal. Its so hectic so I'm more than ready for the next school holiday, we've got a few fulltimers and I don't know how they carry on as the pace is relentless.
As for the grey hairs I'm noticing more and more but my hairdresser works wonders. DD had parents' evening last week and I couldn't get over how old some of them were looking - bearing in mind we met at preschool 15 yrs ago
Enjoy your week off, only 5 wks til the spring break for me and with Easter and the royal wedding we're only in for 9 days in April!0 -
Hi Ladies
I got a copy of a document that Florida had sent to London/Liverpool
Its basically saying they confirm receipt of the request for their services
at the bottom it has a mailing address which i am sure is the address i initially gave in my application but did tell steve to update it as he had said he was moving back with his mum and dad.
Do i contact Steve again and ask him to let Florida know that the address is not recent....or have faith in the USA to find his !!! and sort it out??0 -
Have you got an email address for Florida, if not I'd write to them direct and send a copy to Steve. I've just got copies of what's been sent to REMO and intend to communicate with them direct from now on but send a copy to Liverpool for their records.0

Apparently Florida 'dont do' emails...so would have to written letter i guess. There is a a street address for 'child support enforcement' so i guess that would be it???
So write to them quoting the reference numbers in the letter they sent stating the other address???

I would, it can't do any harm, you could write to REMO and forward a copy to Florida.
I was looking back at the timescales from when your claim went to London before it was sent to Florida and I'm expecting the you know what to hit the fan pretty soon, especially as they'd provisionally assigned a caseworker in Texas0 -
Will draft a letter tonight then and post here so you guys can proof read for me,
I was expecting it to hit the fan in about March time so yep, batton down the hatches...lol0 -
its his birthday in a couple of weeks and I can't think of a nicer present :rotfl:0
