I've just been browsing ebay and come across this piece of Harry Potter memorabilia. Now I do quite like it, but £35,000??? Who's going to pay that?! The seller has no feedback either...

That chest is pretty awesome, though...
And the book, at least, would be an investment. Something like that is likely to appreciate in value. Unless, like, you spilt coffee on it or something...0 -
Im no latin expert (or whatever language it is) but the wording on the coat of arms is wrong i think. From the pics on there it says Drago Dormiens Nunquam Titilandus, however looking at several Hogwarts coats of arms pics on tinternet, it should be Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus. Would have thought this would affect the value. Even if it were spelt correct I doubt its worth anywhere near £35k.
If it had actually been in the movies maybe it would be worth a little bit but this hasn't, apparentl it was meant to go to JK Rowling but how do we know that? and how would that up the value to 35k?0 -
Thats so nice, ah to be rich........
If I had the money, I would love to have a house full of things like this, but 35K, It would have had to come from Hogwarts itself!!!
