Yeah, ignore the reviews, and everyone above is correct (apart from musehead)

Charges are shown below - it's better than three because you don't have to buy a months worth of usage if you only need a day.

WiFi hotspot operator www.thecloud.co.uk its where retail outlets offer a wi-fi connection to their customers. Usually you pay metered charges but o2 mobile broadband gives you free use of these as well as your mobile internet connection.

do you need to load it to be able to use it free?

I'm not sure to be honest. I suspect when you top up they'll text you a username and password to login to the wi-fi hotspots and they will only be valid for the time period you've already paid for your mobile broadband time.

I.E say you pay £2 for a days access you will get 500mb to download over the O2 network AND unlimited downloads for that same day should you use any Wi-Fi hotspots

No, when you register with The Cloud it asks for your O2 phone number - each dongle has a phone number - and this gives you free unlimited access. You can use the cloud seperately from your dongle.

If this is true and you don't have to continually top-up to get the free wi-fi then this is a better deal than first thought.

When you're in a hotspot it will ask you to login or register - I can't find it on their website either.
