And these examples would require differing options with regard to hiding an IP addy, as you already mentioned.

I use Hotspot Shield for Hulu, works fine most of the time but can be a bit slow for streaming sometimes but I think it all depends on time of day etc. as to how busy the site / my ISP is. If anyone knows of a faster way to access Hulu I am most intrigued.

The best free applications i used to hide ip address are Tor Project torproject.com and Not My IP privacy-gateway.com . I also used IP Privacy privacy-pro.com which is a shareware but has premium proxies (which are high quality). All the applications worked great on my computer.
