It isn't our fault you have a boring and unfulfilling [STRIKE]life[/STRIKE] job.0 -
Lets face it, if the much promised climate changes come 4x4's will be the only vehicle that could cope with our roads! after all the last time I listened to the greens they said that we would be baking under 100 degree heat, covered in 10 foot of snow, being battered by 90 mile an hour winds and all this while being under 250 feet of water!!!!:D so we will need the BIG snorkle on our landies!!! Then you will want a lift!! won't you!!!
Sod climate change, if they don't fix the potholes and terrible road surface on a certain local A road I'll be needing a big 4x4 just to get to bloody work.0 -

when I have finished with my 4x4 you wouldnt want to buy it...!! it transports coal and collects logs off fields so i think it is quite green in that I am using wood to burn which lies there rotting. If the government would help me put gas in my house great then I would sell the car and get a run around..also no more expensive oil heating.....modern world...I only live 300yards off main A road and regularly have no elec for a week ayear due to storms i.e no heating. Last quote to run gas in around £8K OVER MY OWN PLOT....ANYONE FANCY IT!!!!!!
Ialso love range rovers etc0 -

In my experience it is the Vectra drivers that have that attitude

Live on a farm, down a dirt track or really need it for off road work then fair enough but does a school run mum really need one if they live in suburbia?

And you know where all the 4 x 4 driving parents are going after the school run do you? Mmmm impressive, you must travel the land far and wide to accquire such knowledge.

The bloke who lives on the corner of my road parks his Mercedes Monster right on the corner.
I cannot see a solitary THING as I edge Oh so gently out with by doze against the windscreen trying to see if there is anything coming from the right.
I nearly got hit by a car coming from the left as I was concentrating so much on the right!!
Would have been my fault of course, but I simply cannot afford to look the other way in case something appears from around the Merc (right = busy road, left = cul de sac).
He does park half on the pavement though (it is a 4x4 after all) which, although he feels proud he can mount the pavement with consumate ease, makes it even more difficult to see whats coming as I approach the junction.
A van would block the view just the same
Should we have little pictures in car parks of the types of cars you can park in the car spaces
The only people that park on the pavements around here are small carsNeeding to lose weight start date 26 December 2011 current loss 60 pound Down. Lots more to go to get into my size 6 jeans0
