    i never did! i had mine when they did a promo promoting no landlines and it was free instalation aswell, iv also been asked loads by there sales team if i want mutiroom many times so there not bothered but that either...

    I can also confirm you dont need a landline. I asked the Sky sales team specifically last week as I refuse to rejoin BT .. ever! At the end of the day they don't wont to lose a member by forcing you to take a contract with someone else that is of no benefit to either party..

    I can only assume it's not published as they can peddle phone and broadband packages and tempt you into using interactive services
