Hello,
Just a little concerned as I booked with them and received the confirmation email but it was full of spelling mistakes! Hoping that it all goes well
A little worried.

I've booked two flights with them due to £8 Quidco per flight. Both are appearing fine on BA's website although one of them I never received any email confirmation!
I am assuming they're legitimate but incompetent

Ive booked Emirate flights online before and have been asked to present the credit card I purchased the tickets with at the check in.If I am booking them for someone else they must have a photocopy of the credit card used in the booking or else they will be denied boarding. Dont know if this is just random because other times It hasnt mattered.0

Hi Jetsetter,
The spelling mistakes was one of the things that worried me too! However, they're based in Spain, if you ring them you'll get through to a Spanish call centre.
However, they are legit, i've got my tickets confirmed with emirates now so i wouldn't worry about it.:D0 -
booked flights to Cape Town, Terminala wouldn't accept Visa card
worried about no insurance if they are a scam
wanted bank transfer (you pay £20 extra to do that + £18 processing fee))tried DialAFlight quoted just below their price - no fee
tried to cancel booking demanded 15 Euros for doing so -- in small print!!)
had to send e-mail confirming cancellation -- reply was in Spanish0 -
I bought a BA flight but found it cheaper on terminala.co.uk after searching on kayak.co.uk. BA have a price promise which should refund the difference if you find the same flights cheaper elsewhere. I've made an application to get some of my money back, so I'm hoping BA do consider this company as a legitimate agent... will see.0

WARNING DO NOT BOOK A FLIGHT THROUGH TERMINALA
I booked with this bunch of cowboys and regret it. I tried to cancel, within a reasonable timeframe and far longer than the minimal that most decent companies specify and ended up paying 225 euros in fees, which kept going up as they would not respond in time to my cancellation requests (emails) so siad the fee had now increased!
I wont go into the details but it took me 12 weeks to get a refund and had to put up with all kinds of excuses from them. In the end I sent an email demanding a refund within 24 hours or I would take legal action - low and behold the refund turned up in my account.
This is an awful company that do not play by the rules, so in the end neither did I. I actually called them and asked then to record the phone call for legal reasons, they said they did not. I then got them to say there was no manager to speak to me and then told them I was actually recording the phone call - boy did the attitude suddently change!!!
If you have booked and have a problem - play hardball and don't let them push you round, but save the hassel, pay the extra and use a reputable company from the start. There is a reason their tickets are cheap - its because they are 'cheap' too!!!
As the old saying goes - if something looks to good to be true (low cost) and you fall for it - Doh!!!!! (yes I did, I know)0 -
Thanks for that, haggybaggy. Was just about to book 3 flights with them but doesn't seem worth the risk for the sake of a few ££s saved on ticket price and the possibility of £8 per booking cashback. I'll stick to expedia.0

bc1999,
Glad to be of help.
I think the more any of the companies that sell on tinternet that try to get customers with 'great deals' but in realist are a bunch of robbing  the better.
The way I now work is if I see a deal, all I do is put the company name + 'problems' or 'customer reviews' into google and then see what comes up .
Another option is to look at the T&C of the particular company and if they are 'unfriendly' or 'restrictive' when compared to a 'normal' company then the warning bells should start ringing.
The phrase buyer beware is very appropriate these days.0 -

so you booked a flight, then decided to cancel, and you're surprised they charged you a bunch of cancellation fees? This is totally normal, I cancelled with ebookers once and it took 10 weeks for the partial refund (only got about 50% back in the end).
everyone who's experienced with booking a lot of flights online knows that these broker sites like lastminute, ebookers, expedia etc etc get you the absolute lowest price on the condition that there are NO amendments or dates changes, and heavy cancellation fees, it's the same with all of them.
the past couple of years i have used terminala for every single flight I've booked, they're all slightly cheaper than the same fares on the other sites, and they do a generous quidco discount. i have never had a single problem of any sort.
if you booked and paid and confirmed a flight, and later changed your mind, that's not the fault of these "cowboys" as you call them, it would've been the same scenario with any of these discount booking sites. be sure of your plans before you go and book.Be kind to all moneysavers0
