Search function absolutely c*&p

Have always noticed with the search function on the forums on this site.Either it takes a long time to search, almost a minute or the next instant you press the Search button,it gives you an error page, i.e This page cannot be displayed.
Just for info I access the net with newish PCs and a fast broadband connection,so they shouldnt be the cause of the slow speed.

The search against the Please Choose a Search dropdrown never works for me either. The search form (via the Search link or
) seems to work OK.

Yeah it is always hard to figure out! i just add a few zero's and it seems to work!0
