recieved final reply saying no go!they insist i had a cooling off period etc(which i admit i had)and it was stated clearly how much ppi was(true)but i still know for a fact i was told i HAD to take it out to get my loan.Ive been in touch with FOS who are looking into it.Ive explained to them ive had a loan withCB before and had 2 mortgages without ever having ppi with them so why would i take it out for this 1 loan unless i was told i had to?:confused:Now ill wait to see what they come up with

    Hi hun
Well I'm sure the FOS will look deeper into this for you, so keep your chin up, they know how these companies work by now.;)
Please let us know when you hear, cheers and fingers crossed.

    Hi there

Brilliant, this is actually one of the longest waiting times you have been through already, the norm if everything goes straight forward is approx 6 weeks, if it becomes complexed it may take longer, however there is no harm in chasing it every few weeks for an update.
Good luck and hope you won't be waiting too long for a good result.;)

My thoughts exactly. I wonder if they have already made a goodwill gesture. I know with my bank one they did this and it was passed over quickly cause the bank had done this. It is usually 12 to 18 months otherwise. ;)

It is usually about 6 weeks with the adjudicator and then another 6 to 8 weeks for payment. (If you win of course!!). Good luck and keep us posted.
