Rosepink ~ are you enjoying the Gently series? I've heard you mention it before, and thought I might as well confess that my uncle wrote the series ( confess because I personally don't enjoy the books at all:o )

Wow LilySue that's one claim to fame :) I love this new series, please pass my good wishes onto your uncle and tell him he has done a good job. I've never read the books so maybe that's a good thing..

Wow Miss A you are doing a fabulous job - how old are you? My little girl is 10 now and hates cleaning although her daddy is home today after a trip so she has made a rainbow list on her computer so that she can try and clean her room - its bad I put pictue links on last weeks thread. I ebt yours never gets that bad :A

I have been waiting for the shower so have finally succumbed to cleaning out the kitchen drawers (well 2 out of 4). They were seriously minging and I have thrown away loads of stuff including 18 medicine spoons that were lurking in the top drawer, we now have 1 :D

Kitchen and D/Rm still not great and its about to get worse as DS is now going to cook breakfast  I have always said breakfast has to be done by 930 so he reckons he's having early lunch :mad: then gave me a little pinky swear that he'll clean up :mad::mad:. He is so cheeky he gets away with it (and always has done)

Ok this week I am really going to get myself into gear and not disappear from the thread at the end of the week, as I have been doing the past couple of weeks..

One good thing over the weekend we got our internet speed upgraded to 50mb and boy have I noticed a difference, so there is no excuse for me not to be able to read or post anymore..lol Ok can you tell I'm a happy little bunny, I like my gizmos and gadgets, poor DH just scratches his head and leaves me to it..lol

I've also got my hernia back again as I stupidly lifted a pine wardrobe unit, over the banisters into hubbys train room, on my own..oops!! Didn't realise it was back until I was in the bath and felt it, so quick dash to Dr's. I'm now on no stretching/lifting for 6 weeks, but 1 week has passed so it's only 5 weeks :) DH bought me a foldup step at the weekend so that I can stand on it to open the top windows, or get things from the top of the cupboard without stretching. But It's all okay all I need is DH to lift the hoover up and down the stairs for me when I need him to..

Toots sorry I wasn't around yesterday to do your visualisation, but I did light a candle and offer up a healing prayer.. *Hugs*

Right it is now 11.20 and I am still in my nightwear and watching t.v. and watching the rain too..ugh!! Still at least it will water my little plants that I bought at the garden show, on Saturday. Now I just want it to be nice so that I can plant them out :)

Back from HHC. This is what I did:

Mopped up DD2's accident from the hall floor (thank goodness is lino!)
Put all cushion covers and lounge curtains in the washing machine.
    Dusted
    vacuumed the stairs
Sorted and moved all the washing from the armchair.

    So here's the updated list:
Tuesday twinkles! - Living room, hall and stairs!
    Declutter and vacuum!
[STRIKE]Spend half an hour doing something for yourself! .. make yourself a hair appointment or something![/STRIKE] hair appointment already in for June 6th but might have to change it as we might go to N. Wales for the weekend.
    Wipe sofas
    Wash windows
Sort through coats n bags n shoes etc
    Extras

    1. Sort through a handbag
    2. Sort through a cupboard or drawer of junk
    3. 29 fling boogie...
    4. HHI
Think I'll read a few stories to DD2...we've been to the library this morning so we'll have a look at the books she's got, then have some lunch. Will be back for another HHC after lunch to finish off the list, then a HHI.

Penny...while you're here I thought I'd ask the expert (that's what you're signature suggests anyway!!!;):p)...what do you reckon to a bag of M&S museli that went out of date in October 2008? Ok to use? Was thinking of doing some sort of baking with it. Not sure what though?

Weather's turned out sunny and very bereezy so I've gathered together another load of washing and that's about to go on the line. It will have to be double pegged and will dry in no time!
