I've also surface washed DD's biggest teddy which is now white instead of yellow  and put another one (was clean but smelled a bit stale) on the washing line - wash load 2 is out on the line and the first of 3 or 4 loads of cuddly toys are in the machine on the gentlest wash but will get an extra spin cycle ready to go out on the line. Already I can see a difference in one of them:D The only ones I'm not going to get done today are the ones from the Bear Factory, all three of them , who will need to be surfaced washed and "magic teddy" (my teddy from when I was a little girl...still works wonders now
) who needs to be unpicked, unstuffed, washed, dried and then restuffed & restitched so that can be a weekend job when I'll hopefully have the time
Also the lemonjuice did work on DD's t-shirt so a rather productive couple of hours so far... and now I've got all my admin up to date I can get on with my assignment  :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 - Studying :

Hi all...I've hardly been here for the last 2 weeks what with one thing and another..hardly done any flying either.. I'm miles behind on the threads so think I'll give up trying to catch up but will try to keep up this week, I've no idea whats been happening with you all so hope you're all ok...
Done loads in the garden yesterday & this morning & got almost all the washing done & dried but the rains here now so will go make a start on the kitchen. Catch you later!0 -
9pm it is then...
It's very easy, and these are just guidelines, so do what works for you.
Find somewhere quiet to sit where you can be undisturbed for 10 minutes. Light a candle if it helps, and clear your mind (focussing on the flame can help with this).
Then concentrate on toots, thinking positive things about her - think of some of the funny things she's said, or what you know of her from her posts
. This is to get your thoughts concentrated on her in a positive way.
Once you're focussed on toots, visualise her tumour (nasty brown thing the size of a lemon), and imagine it being surrounded and then filled with light. If there is a specific colour you associate with healing or positivity, use this. Otherwise, white light is fine. Imagine the light growing brighter and brighter, and the tumour slowly dissolving in it, until you're left just with a pool of bright positive energy filling your mind.
Then slowly release the light, leaving it with toots, and think positive and peaceful thoughts to help her relax and let all the energy get to work while she rests.
This should only take about 10 minutes in total - if that, as it's hard work if you're not used to visualisation or mediation. You may feel tired afterwards, in which case, just take a little time to relax and bring yourself back into reality before moving on to do other things. Imagining yourself somewhere peaceful & warm (e.g. an empty beach, or a place your really love and feel safe) is a good way of doing this.
If you're the kind of person who needs words as well as images, then prepare them beforehand - words that make you think about toots (positive ones only please ), followed by words about healing, repair, health, recovery etc, then words about peace, rest, sleep.
Hopefully toots will feel a sense of connection and positive energy - but even if she doesn't, hopefully it'll help her wind down and get a good nights sleep.
Toots - all you need to do is think about all of us (by the time you've listed all the flyladies you'll be asleep :rotfl:) surrounding you in a protective circle, and then imagine yourself filling with the light that we're sending you, and see it dissolving your tumour. Once it's gone, just imagine yourself somewhere peaceful and safe and then let yourself drift off to sleep ...
The sun's out again, so I'm off to put some long sleeves and a hat on and get going in the garden! see you all later...0
