it would be a nice drive up here to break it in.
is it in green?
No. Not green, he deliberately avoided it as he said he would hate it after a week or two and there is the panel mismatch issue too. The blue, he was tempted, but it is a common RS colour and therefore decided on the white as it looks bl**dy good with the black accessories, as in mirrors, spoilers etc.
He tried to avoid the white originally as last two cars (ST's) are white! But the RS looks the best in the white.
I'll ask him to 'pop' up and see you on Wednesday but think he may not have the time!!
He's not intending to sell it straight away as he actually likes it and wants it! But think that a year down the line he may sell it.... Good investment tho!Genie

Just because its advertised at 30K doesnt mean it sells for 30k
And what would you rather spend £30k on?
Evo X
Imprezza STi
BMW 335i coupe
Brera 3.2
Audi A5 3.2 Quattro
or just a humble Ford Focus0 -

That was 30 years ago...lol0 -
The point in time in which these sort of cars are the best investment is when people can't shift em for £1k and a good low mileage garaged example comes along. Of course at that point people don't think of them as an investment.0

future classic? I doubt it. It's a focus. Was a fresh design, now getting dated. Slap on a facelift front and plastic tat..it's still a focus, and no ford is worth 30k.
I don't think any modern car will be a "future classic"...old classics are simple, built well (not to a price), and solid. New cars are plastic, flimsy, electronic (and all the hell that brings), and low quality compared to what went before.
I saw a MK1 Escort yesterday behind me, now THAT's a classic. Still not worth 30k though.0 -

All previous RS Fords have went on to become classics - including the last Focus RS.
Why would this one be any different?0 -
